Tomás the Tamale
Mission · Vision · Values
The mission of the Texas Assistive Technology Makers Alliance, or TAMALES, is to help coordinate a statewide network of makers interested in supporting individuals with disabilities. This is done by creating individualized AT solutions while learning from one another in a collaborative environment.
TAMALES envisions a Texas connected by makers and fabricators, creating customized solutions for Texans with disabilities so they may live more independently.
TAMALES values collaborative and shared spaces, where technical knowledge and expertise is freely exchanged, allowing all to learn and benefit.
