Program Assistant

Texas Technology Access Program

Anna Gonzalez is a Program Assistant at the Texas Technology Access Program at the Texas Center for Disability Studies, University of Texas at Austin. She has over 5 years of experience working in healthcare and disability services. Prior to joining TTAP, she worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) and audiology assistant, serving pediatric to geriatric populations in a variety of settings including public schools, private clinics, and home health. Her work has involved supporting individuals across the lifespan in accessing and using assistive technology to promote communication, independence, and participation in daily life. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Stephen. F Austin State University and an SLPA certification. She is passionate about ensuring equitable access to assistive technology and believes in making everyday tools and supports more accessible to help individuals with disabilities fully engage in all aspects of life. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her dogs.
